Events
This is the space where I plug events that I like or am going to. Never been to a dance event before? They are like national or regional conferences… but for dancers.
Cool people like you get together for 2-7 days (and sometimes longer) to take dance workshops, perform & compete, socialize and meet people.
They happen in hotels, universities, and random dance venues. Often you can get hosted with local dancers. Sounds sketchy, right? Yeah, I thought so too, at first.
Dance events are a celebration of lindy hop.
And they involve an awful lot of social dancing. More than you can do, I promise.
